Made from scratch bagels and muffins, hand-roasted coffee, smoothies, and deli sandwiches make Big Apple Bagels (BAB) a big deal in the Fishers State Road 37 corridor.  In operation since 2004 at 9528 E. 126th Street, Big Apple Bagels is locally-owned and operated by franchisee Syed Mohammad. Retired from Eli Lilly and Company, Syed Mohammad purchased the franchise business from its original owner in November 2018.  He currently employees a team of 14 full and part-time staff members.

Big Apple Bagel is a national brand recognized for its quality ingredients and personalized services.  BAB’s menu offers a variety of bagels, muffins, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, brewed coffee and specialty lattes, and smoothies.  If you have stopped in Big Apple Bagel, you have noticed it is a gathering spot for families, business meetings and anyone on-the-go.  

Fun Fact:  You might assume Big Apple Bagel started in NYC, but the franchise’s roots are in the Midwest, with company headquarters in Illinois.
